Over the years, I’ve crafted stories that connect people to place, purpose, and each other. While much of my past work reflects branding and marketing projects, at their core these stories have always aimed to celebrate resilience, amplify authentic voices, and highlight meaningful impact.
Now, I’m focusing my practice more intentionally on social impact storytelling—partnering with not-for-profits, social enterprises, and community initiatives to create narratives that build empathy, inspire trust, and unlock support.
Every project is approached with care and integrity, prioritising the safety, dignity, and respect of the people whose stories are told. This foundation allows stories to become powerful catalysts for donor engagement, grant success, and community empowerment.

For the Port to Pub open-water swim, I developed a series of swimmer profile stories—conducting interviews, capturing portraits, and producing short videos to promote different race categories. The quotes and stories from my interviews and transcriptions became the basis for the Port to Pub 2023 Promo Video, plus the printed handbook, paired with my photographs to create a warm, personal portrait of the swimmers.
In 2021, I was commissioned to produce photography and a video showcasing Deep Water Point Reserve Playspaces, winner of Parks and Leisure Australia Playspace of the Year (<$500k). My imagery was used in the award submission, screened at the national awards night, and shared in Parks & Leisure Australia magazine—highlighting the playspace’s features in a compelling, experiential, and accessible way.
More recently, I created a promotional video for the Bears of Brine, a team of elite swimmers who successfully crossed the English Channel to raise funds to rebuild a school in Lombok destroyed by an earthquake. They set out to raise $88K and ended up surpassing their goal, reaching $122K. I handled the entire process—stakeholder interviews, transcription, scriptwriting, editing, and subtitling—producing a heartfelt video that inspired donations and community support.

One of my recent copywriting highlights was a feature for Outdoor Swimmer magazine, profiling an extraordinary open-water swimmer born without arms, who calls herself The Wingless Warrior. What began as a short newsletter story for the Port to Pub event evolved into an international feature exploring disability, determination, and the ocean as a space of freedom. The piece attracted wide readership and media coverage, showing my strength in crafting stories that resonate with audiences and capture stakeholder interest.
